Career Connection Services

Individual Career Counseling:

Imagine individual attention devoted solely to you and your questions about careers, internships, graduate or professional school, grad and professional students considering non-academic careers, or making the transition from student to professional.  Career counselors will help you clarify your goals, explore personal concerns, and develop an individualized career plan.

Career Assessment:

The following assessments can help you generate career options based on your interests, skills, values, and personality traits. Career Connection's individualized interpretation format will add clarity to your results. The fee range of these measurements is from $1 to $12; fees are for cost recovery only. These assessments measure interests, confidence in skills, confidence in abilities, values, and personality types in relation to career choices

  • Campbell Interest & Skill Survey
  • Self-Directed Search
  • Discover
  • Focus II

Career Connection will accept personal checks and Buck-ID for career assessment services. All other services are free. No credit cards or cash are accepted.

Workshops & Career Groups:

Connecting with other students who share similar concerns is a unique way to generate solutions and strategies for your career-related questions.  A variety of programs ranging from how majors related to careers to job search strategies are available every quarter upon request.

Outreach to The Ohio State Community:

You can request a workshop for your class, department, or organization by calling 688-3898 and discussing with a counselor your interests in such an activity.  To accommodate your request, we appreciate notification at least one month in advance.

FREE Ongoing Career Consultations:

  • Mondays 3:00 to 4:00 pm with Ana C. Berrios-Allison, Ph.D.
